About Giant Genie

What began in 1983 as an alternative has become the solution for people that just don’t fit the mold of big stores with little service. Since the early days, patients, doctors, and the public can call the store and know that a qualified, concerned professional will patiently work until each caller is happy. Competitive prices and superior service have always ruled the day in Charlotte’s Largest Independent Pharmacy.

Since 2006, the entire Jones family now works at the pharmacy. Robby and Leslie’s children, Hilary Smith and Tim Jones, work alongside their parents at the great Jones family company. Giant Genie is truly a family-owned independent pharmacy. Some of the staff have been with the company since its opening. Through the years, the loyal staff has gotten to know the customers on a personal level.

"Our staff has become part of our Giant Genie family, which makes our customers feel like they are at home," says Robby. "Many of our employees are related to each other. Sisters, brothers, husbands, and wives work together every day."
